Baan Ling Noi, which means “Little Monkey House” in Thai, sets new standards in elegant Thai living.

Located on a lush hillside with spectacular views over the north coast of beautiful Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand, this spacious and luxurious four bedroom, open plan villa is fronted by a 14m x 6m infinity-edge swimming pool that overhangs beautifully landscaped gardens and the tropical jungle below.

Baan Ling Noi is simply but elegantly furnished throughout with contemporary Thai furniture, as well as traditional and modern Thai artifacts that perfectly complement the clean lines of the house.

On the upper level, the large living room, with flat screen TV and DVD player etc, also has a fully equipped modern black granite kitchen. Large sliding doors give way to a large terrace and breakfast dining table.

Downstairs, there are two guest bedrooms (one double and one twin). Both en-suite with double washbasins, toilet and rain shower, they are decorated in the elegant, understated style of the entire house, with high thread count white linen and lightweight duvets on the beds. Muted shades of dusky grey, beige, copper and petrol blue form the colour palette for the bedroom soft furnishings.

The Master Bedroom is located in a separate pavilion which also has a further guest bedroom downstairs. Both rooms have large double beds, twin washbasins, rain showers, wooden floors and big terrazzo bathtubs – perfect for relaxing after a long day in the sun or shopping in the many attractive shops on the island.

All the bedrooms have air conditioning and the Master Bedroom also has a ceiling fan, as does the living room (2) and sala.

Outside the Master Bedroom is a large terrace with four sunbeds and umbrellas. The over-sized sala, with deep seating and comfy green cushions, is the perfect place to lounge around and chat, perhaps over a refreshing drink from the small refrigerator there.

 Baan Ling Noi has a full time couple and a manager living at the house who keep the house clean, service your room, do your laundry and serve breakfast. There is also a professional English-speaking management company who can arrange shopping for you on arrival and who can be contacted any time if needed.

 You will need a car at Baan Ling Noi. However, it is only a short drive (10 mins) to the nearest white sandy beach, cute little beach-side bars and restaurants – and even TESCO, which is 10 minutes’ drive away!

This stunning villa completed in 2008 is situated in one of the best and most sought after locations on Koh Samui. Perched on the hillside, facing east, on the north-eastern peninsular, above the picturesque beach of Tongson Bay, just a 2 minute walk away, and a picture postcard view of Koh Phangan to the north. 

The beautiful beach of Choeng Mon is just 5 minutes away by car with many restaurants to choose from, the quaint old Chinese shops of Fisherman’s Village in Bophut and the nightlife of Chaweng are a short 10 minute drive away.

The Villa is extraordinarily spacious, arranged on 5 split levels with panoramic sea views that are simply stunning. With 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, all with Wi-Fi, TV/DVD, small refrigerator, safe and kettle and with separate maids quarters, the villa is perfectly equipped to accommodate up to 9 people; combining privacy with unique social areas.

The villas grand entry has lush landscaped areas with fishponds and water fountains leading to dual teak front doors, a teak parquetry floor entry hall with a vaulted timber ceiling, with a view looking down through the main living area, over the infinity-edge pool merging with the ocean.

The master suite, situated on the top floor with a raised vaulted timber ceiling, ducted a/c and a bathroom with a step-up spa, has been luxuriously finished with granite and marble and has great ocean views. The suite also includes a private and secure study/office with a polished timber desk with leather high back chair. 

Opposite is another bedroom, ideally suited for children. The villas abundant furnishings certainly continue here, with recessed baskets to the ceiling for lighting etc, cool large tile floor with wood trim.

The floor below houses a single bedroom with en suite bathroom and with a private entry, it is perfectly suited as a maid’s quarters as leads into a well-equipped laundry, large storeroom and connected to kitchen level. 

On the same floor is a large cellar spectacularly furnished with a table and bench seats for wine tasting. There’s a regulated wine refrigerator together with an adjacent bar refrigerator. This cellar is a feature of the villa and has to be seen to be appreciated; teak inbuilt furniture with modern intricate finish and ducted a/c. Deep copper flooring complete the rich tones.

The floor below has a high spec modern kitchen which is equipped with all brand name appliances, fitted out with beechwood cabinets and granite bench tops; dishwasher; microwave; oven and hotplate with stainless air extractor over the hotplate; a Siemens stainless steel refrigerator along with ice maker. The kitchen also has a bar built into it, as well as a granite bench top breakfast bar all complemented with over head lighting.

On the same floor is an open plan lounge and dining area with custom designed furniture throughout to make this large area a statement of luxurious tropical living. A sprawling 6-piece modern white cane sofa set and a 10 seat pale teak and white marble dining table, large mirrors, and sculptures make this large area the heart of the house. 

This area is adjacent to an infinity edge swimming pool complete with Jacuzzi spa that is suspended above the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Thailand and gives a 180 degree ocean view. Ducted a/c to these areas as well as suspended ceiling fans and 4 complete lighting variations to provide several moods. The guest bathroom, with shower, on this level is a well-thought-out addition to this area.

On the next floor down, there are two spacious, well-designed double bedrooms; with vaulted raised timber ceilings and marble floors, ducted a/c, both with beautifully finished en suite bathrooms and spectacular ocean views. One of the bedrooms is a very large area and incorporates a dressing room, en suite bathroom and a good size over view balcony. The features here are a two-way bed and subdued lighting options. The room has full-length windows allowing for a fantastic view of Tongson Bay at all times from your bed. A private door from the dressing room leads to the under-house garden, to a small patio area with a hammock. 

The 4th level is a large open area completely open to the all the views and ideal for parties and is approx 140 sqm.

On the final 5th level below you have a enclosure ideal for storing canoe, kayak, surf board etc all under cover, with a security gate at the bottom leading to the beach.

The interior has been professionally designed and decorated by a known and well respected interior designer on Koh Samui. Most of the furniture was custom designed and made for the villa to be modern, enduring and reflecting the white sands and sunsets that embrace the views. The construction details contain the decoration finishes rarely seen in villas, with white wood wall panellings, niches, source mood lighting, inbuilt furniture etc. All doors are solid teak along with solid stainless steel hinges, door handles and locks; each room can be individually locked for added security.

The villa has a total of 10 a/c units, 9 being hidden in the ceiling, so if the cool sea breeze is not sufficient.

There’s an integrated intercom system throughout, telephones, and a CCTV security system is installed, along with Wi-Fi throughout the whole villa to compliment its security.

The landscape gardens are extensive with planting covering the whole plot. The villa collects most of its own water from the roof to the ground tanks capacity of 12,000 litres, from where a large capacity water filters all the water entering the Villa, with a final filter in the Kitchen for drinking water and ice maker. 

This really is a one off villa and must be experienced to understand its full potential.

This holiday villa is 600 square meters (6460 Square feet) of luxury living-space set in a 3045m2 (7.5 acres) of landscaped property in a tropical forest just south of the northwestern tip of Koh Samui in Bang Po. Beautiful local beaches, golf course, restaurants and shopping are a few minutes away by car.

It has five elegantly appointed bedrooms that can sleep up to 10 people, each with its own bathroom. Three of these bathrooms have large Jacuzzis and picture windows to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. The ultra comfortable living area contains an enormous u-shaped sofa, 52” LCD TV, with surround sound system and the True Vision satellite service. The adjacent dining room sits up to 14 persons. This very large and impressive 5-bedroom hillside property is an excellent example of modern tropical architecture blended with South East Asian art with stunning views to the east, west and south. Villa Mankout (PV 2) is the cosiest of the Plantation Villas set in a 730 square metre landscaped site. The garden is the central focus of the villa alongside the 40 square metre swimming pool which is fringed with lush flowers and tropical foliage. Built in three separate buildings, the villa has three bedrooms, a master bedroom with both an indoor bathroom and a private outside shower for nature lovers and is set apart from the other buildings. In another area the other bedrooms adjoin each other (but not interconnecting) both with ensuite bathrooms, one double and one twin. The twin bedroom also has an outside landscaped shower area. All of the bedrooms overlook the swimming pool and gardens and have double glass sliding doors that open onto terraces to allow easy access. The final building houses the large open plan living and dining area, kitchen, a large dining terrace ideal for al-fresco meals all overlooking the swimming pool. An outside Sala and lush tropical gardens finish off the villa. The villa has four separate buildings, if one includes the Sala, and a total living area of around 400 square metres

map-SSEWith 24 hour Estate security, the Villa is very safe and private and can be self contained once the gates are closed. Because of the layout of the estate the villas are given enough space not too really overlook each other thus ensuring a high level of privacy. Once the gates are closed it truly is a private retreat.

Villa Mangoot has Cable TV, DVD player, CD playing capability and complimentary broadband Wi-Fi. It also has a fully supplied kitchen with pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, glassware etc for 6 guests. There is also a tennis court at the Estate which is free to all guests staying at Villa Mangoot. Tennis racquets and balls are available at the Estate office for a small fee.

There is a private gated parking area for two large vehicles. There is a maid's room under the dining terrace, that is totally separate from the Villa living areas.

Samui Summit Estate is set in a tranquil area of Koh Samui in the North East corner and the natural bird song and other tropical noises are very relaxing when lazing around the pool or just relaxing in the sala immersed in a good book.

Translated this means 'The House on the Beach', is a large luxurious beach front villa comprised of 2 identical pavilions with spectacular sea views overlooking the truly inspiring golden Big Buddha Bay and its famous Temple, the Big Buddha. There is a third building near the entrance of the property that has the gym, the seventh bedroom and  a bathroom with a proper bath as well as a shower.

The property opens on to the 3km white sand beach from the pool and lawn in a bay that is perfect for year round swimming, jogging and the stunning sunsets. This just adds to the special nature of life 'right on the beach'.

The two pavilions, each with 330 sqm of living space and deck and courtyard area, are situated side-by-side overlooking a beautiful white sandy beach with Koh Phanghan in the distance. Each pavilion features 3 air-conditioned bedrooms (2 double and 1 twin), all with en-suite bathrooms. The master bedrooms overlook the beach and have sumptuous bathrooms including a secluded outdoor Balinese bath and shower.

Each pavilion has its own private access, a fully fitted kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas and a large living room equipped with all amenities. All rooms are furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Sliding doors from the living areas and main bedrooms open onto large teakwood decks, ideal for dining or just relaxing. Surrounded with lush vegetation and mature coconut and tropical trees the setting preserves everyone's privacy.

The pavilions share a 1,600 sq.m. walled gardens complete with Thai artifacts and a large double hammock in what can only be described as picture postcard setting! The 12 meter pool is floodlit and complete with a sunbathing area. All sitting out areas are equipped with deck furniture, loungers and umbrellas. And all this right by the beach with Koh Phan Ngan and Big Buddha on the skyline!

Three resident full time staff that can organise a candle-lit beach dinner; a garden BBQ or a stylish indoor dinner party prepared by our qualified Thai Chef service at the villa. Or you can walk along the beach and choose from the nearby eclectic range of restaurants - either local or International.
