There are a number of weekly ‘walking streets’ on Samui the most popular being the ones in Mae Nam on Thursday nights and the one in Fisherman’s Village in Bophut on a Friday nights. One can walk through and get a feel of the island people, a colourful tourist market with lots of local eating stalls and mobile bars.
